Optimization

Properties of antibodies and proteins such as stability, efficacy and specificity can be the limiting factors that determine whether a drug candidate succeeds in becoming a drug. By their very nature, proteins have not primarily been developed to act as drugs and completely different requirements might be imposed for this function. Alligator Bioscience’s FIND® technology enables us to redesign virtually any characteristics of an antibody or a protein that can be translated into significant clinical benefits, including higher efficacy and potency, improved safety profile and decreased antigenicity.

Optimal target product profile

Thanks to our FIND® technology our Discovery team is not constrained by the limited properties of natural proteins or candidate antibodies or limitations in conventional protein engineering techniques. Instead we can focus on defining the optimal TPP (target product profile) based on scientific and medical expertise; this is often done in close collaboration with external scientists within the relevant fields.
